Find a penny…
Pick it up, and all the day you’ll have good luck! (Or something along those lines anyways). While on my stroll through the Southside of Chicago while doing errands it hit me… was my Monday so whimsical because I found a penny that morning? Right on the bus as I was getting off my stop and on my adventure into work… I found a bright, shiny, 2010, heads up penny. I picked it up, put it in my pocket and forgot about it.
I brought it to work again today, only this time I took it out and I put it on my computer to remind me of the little things, the important things, and the things that make me happy.
Perhaps it’s an omen showing that 2010 is going to be lucky. Perhaps if I think that it is true, I will “will” it to be true. Power of positive thinking perhaps? Ha, perhaps I should stop saying perhaps.
That’s the way of the world though, you just don’t know.
